Hand-poured in Fort Collins, Colorado, these soy candles are inspired by Vance Kirkland's synesthesia (a fancy name for experiencing one of your senses through another, like smelling a painting or hearing color) and his 1978 painting The Energy of Explosions Twenty-Four Billion Years B.C.

The Energy of Explosions candle blends woodsmoke, cassia and vanilla into one distinctive scent.

  • Available in two sizes:
    • 4-oz metal container with lid | 20-25 hour burn time
    • 12-oz open glass jar | 50-60 hour burn time
  • Hand-poured with soy wax, beeswax, fragrance oils, and a cotton wick
  • To achieve the best scent throw, always trim your wicks (1/4 in) before each burn and burn until you get a full melt pool (approx. 3 hours).
